About the Opportunity
Our client is seeking a Preconstruction Manager to lead the early phase of ICI construction projects in Calgary. This position is suited to a professional who excels in planning, design coordination, estimating oversight, scheduling logic, and stakeholder alignment.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Lead preconstruction from initial client engagement through to final pricing/award
- Coordinate design development, scope definition, and constructability reviews
- Oversee estimating activities and support development of pricing strategies
- Build and maintain schedules, risk registers, and procurement strategies
- Facilitate communication among owners, designers, and internal teams
About You
The successful candidate will have the following:
- Professional Mindset: Grit, Entrepreneur
- 8–15+ years of experience in preconstruction, estimating, or project management within ICI construction
- Strong understanding of building systems, cost drivers, and design development
- Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and competing priorities
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
- Ability to drive clarity and alignment during early project stages
About the Job
- You’ll influence project success from day one, support major upcoming Calgary developments, and work with a respected general contractor that values planning, reliability, and strong client partnerships
- This role is located in Calgary, AB
- Salary ranging from $110,000 to $135,000+
