Senior Estimator, ICI Construction – Permanent – 3129 Calgary, AB
About the Opportunity
We are seeking a Senior Estimator to join a respected general contractor with a strong and diverse ICI portfolio. This role is ideal for an estimator who enjoys both conceptual and detailed estimating and who thrives in a collaborative environment focused on accuracy, competitiveness, and well‑structured preconstruction processes.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Prepare conceptual, schematic, and detailed estimates for ICI projects $20M +
- Analyze drawings and specifications to ensure scope clarity
- Develop quantity take‑offs, costing, and complete bid submissions
- Solicit, evaluate, and negotiate subcontractor and supplier pricing
- Work closely with the preconstruction and project management teams to align estimates with project goals
About You
The successful candidate will have the following:
- Professional Mindset: Grit, Entrepreneur
- 7–12+ years estimating ICI projects with a general contractor
- Strong understanding of local trade markets and construction costs
- Experience with estimating software and digital take off tools
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines
- Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively
