Preconstruction Coordinator, Multi-Family & Civil – Permanent – 3201 Calgary, AB
About the Opportunity
We’re partnered with a Calgary-based developer-builder with a strong and growing pipeline across multi-family residential and civil/infrastructure projects.
With a portfolio that spans wide, this team is heavily invested in preconstruction excellence, getting involved early, driving value, and setting projects up properly before they ever hit site.
They’re looking to bring on a Preconstruction Coordinator to support estimating and tendering efforts, working closely with senior leadership and playing a key role in how projects are scoped, priced, and executed.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys the front-end of projects and wants real exposure to both development and construction sides of the business.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Prepare and manage trade bid packages, including scopes of work and tender instructions
- Review drawings and RFP documents across architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and civil scopes
- Coordinate RFIs with consultants and support bid levelling of subcontractor quotes
- Track and manage trade pricing, ensuring timely and accurate submissions
- Develop and maintain progressive budgets from early design through to final tender
- Support tender execution and assist in transitioning projects to the operations team
- Build and maintain relationships with subcontractors and support trade coverage strategies
- Monitor market pricing trends and update unit rates for future budgeting accuracy
- Utilize platforms such as Procore, Bluebeam, and Building Connected to manage workflows
- Support implementation of safety standards within preconstruction and tendering processes
About You
The successful candidate will have the following:
- 2+ years of experience in preconstruction, estimating, or project coordination in construction
- Exposure to multi-family residential, townhomes, or civil/infrastructure projects
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings across multiple disciplines
- Experience reviewing and analyzing subcontractor quotes
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tenders and deadlines
- Proficiency in tools such as Bluebeam, Excel, Procore, and/or Building Connected
- Detail-oriented with a proactive, solutions-driven mindset
- Post-secondary education in construction, engineering, or a related field is an asset

- Competitive compensation based on experience, ranging from $85,000 to $105,000
