Senior Estimator – Permanent – 3220 Vancouver, BC
About the Opportunity
Our client, a well-established and growing general contractor in the Vancouver market, is seeking an Estimator to join their pre-construction team and support the delivery of complex ICI construction projects across commercial, institutional, and light industrial sectors.
This role will focus on preparing competitive and accurate estimates for projects ranging from approximately $5M to $60M while working closely with operations, subcontractors, consultants, and ownership groups throughout the pursuit and pre-construction process.

Duties include but are not limited to:
- Prepare full-cycle estimates and quantity take-offs for ICI construction projects ($5M–$60M)
- Analyze drawings, specifications, and project documents to develop accurate costing
- Solicit, review, and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing
- Participate in budgeting, conceptual estimating, and pre-construction planning
- Assist in preparing tender submissions, bid packages, and proposal documentation
- Identify value engineering opportunities and potential project risks
- Work collaboratively with Project Managers, Operations, and senior leadership teams
- Maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, consultants, and clients
- Support ongoing improvements to estimating processes, systems, and database management
About You
The successful candidate will have the following:
- 5-15+ years of estimating experience within ICI construction
- Experience estimating commercial, institutional, and/or light industrial projects in the $5M–$60M range
- Strong understanding of construction methodology, costing, and procurement
- Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and tender documentation accurately
- Experience working with estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication, organizational, and negotiation skills
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Post-secondary education in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field is preferred

- Competitive base salary: $110,000 to $140,000
