About the Opportunity
Parker Huggett has partnered with a reputable General Contractor in SW Ontario to support the hiring of an Operation Manager for it’s growing team. This firm has a fantastic pipeline of ICI and Multi-Family projects throughout the region in the $10M-$100M range. Our client is well managed with a fantastic culture and opportunity for professional growth. Reporting to the Vice President, this role is focused on people management, client management, and site management.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Manage, coach, mentor and guide Project Management and Project Coordinator staff
- Provide clear direction to team members and distributes workload to capitalize on individual strengths while ensuring balanced exposure to work
- Develop, maintain and nurture client relationships
- Oversite of General Superintendent and Site Staff
- Oversee multiple project teams to ensure successful delivery of complex construction projects
- Visit project sites regularly to ensure projects are well executed and meet or exceed internal expectations
- Project and budget monitoring
- Provide expertise in construction planning and scheduling
- Review and monitor all contracts, sub-contracts, change orders, markups, claims and disputes
About You
The successful candidate will have the following:
- 10-15+ years of experience in a GC setting in multi-family and/or ICI projects
