About the Opportunity
Are you a Design Manager or design-minded construction management professional with a desire to grow your career in a direction outside of traditional project delivery? There are plenty of large and exciting projects that could benefit from your knowledge in design-development and constructability.
Parker Huggett has proudly worked for years now with a leading national GC with over 70 years of varied construction experience. This Employee-Owned Canadian GC has delivered a large and diverse portfolio of ICI, infrastructure and residential projects coast to coast.
As they continue to grow from strength-to-strength, their high-calibre team has been able to take on and successfully deliver more complex, challenging and significant community/social infrastructure projects that are leaving a meaningful mark and solidifying their reputation as one of Canada and Ontario’s leading firms.
Now, with plans to continue building out their team in support and development of these complex PDB, DB, and CM projects, they are looking for a talented Design Manager to join their team!
About You
The successful candidate will have the following:
- A Successful Track Record – To support the pursuit and delivery of large and complex projects circa $200m – $1b+ in value; including healthcare, life sciences, aviation, social infrastructure, long-term care, manufacturing facilities, etc.

- This is not solely a Design or Business Development focused role. You do not require a P. Eng. You will be working to liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure projects are pursued, developed, planned and delivered in accordance with client expectations, while ensuring the construction team can deliver effectively and meet or exceed those expectations
