About the Opportunity
Our client is seeking a Vice President, Finance to join their executive team. This strategic leadership role will report to the President and oversee the financial management of the organization. The successful candidate will play a key role in planning, implementing, managing, and controlling all financial-related activities, while driving strategic initiatives and ensuring operational excellence.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Lead the continuous evaluation of short- and long-term strategic financial objectives
- Oversee accounting, finance, forecasting, strategic planning, cashflow analysis, budgeting, job costing, legal, property management, deal analysis, and investor relations
- Provide executive management with advice on the financial implications of business activities and opportunities
- Ensure the Finance group delivers timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial trends, and forecasts
- Maintain strong internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP and relevant regulations
About You
The successful candidate will have the following:
- BS in Accounting or Finance; MBA and/or CPA highly desirable
- 10+ years in progressively responsible financial leadership roles, preferably in real estate development, family office, property management, and/or construction
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills with an ability to work across all levels of an organization
- High integrity, dependability, a strong sense of urgency, and a results-oriented mindset
- Proficiency with REMS/Constellation, Excel, and general PC skills within a Windows environment
