Senior Site Superintendent – Permanent – 3165 Ottawa, ON
About the Opportunity
You’re not just running a site, you’re leading people, shaping outcomes, and delivering complex builds that define skylines.
As a Senior Site Superintendent, you will take full ownership of field operations on large, complex construction projects (typically $100M+), driving execution from mobilization through to turnover. You’re the steady hand onsite, ensuring quality, safety, schedule, and team performance are all aligned and moving forward.
This is a leadership role where your ability to mentor, coach, and elevate your team is just as critical as your technical expertise.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Full oversight of site operations on major construction projects
- Execution aligned with drawings, specifications, and contract requirements
- Development and management of detailed project schedules
- Implementation and enforcement of site safety and HSE programs
- Coordination with project managers, consultants, trades, and authorities
- Resolution of site challenges while maintaining momentum and quality
- Mentorship and performance development of Superintendents and field teams
About You
The successful candidate will have the following:
- 10+ years of progressive site supervision experience in ICI construction
- Proven track record delivering large, complex builds ($50M–$100M+)
- Strong understanding of drawings, specs, contracts, and construction sequencing
- A natural leader who builds high-performing teams and strong site culture
- Highly organized, decisive, and solutions-oriented
- Comfortable using construction management tools and MS Office
- Bilingual (English/French) considered an asset
