About the Opportunity
One of North America’s largest builders has secured a healthy new pipeline of ICI and data centre work in the GTA and is growing its project team to deliver it. This is a firm with a deep national platform and sizable in-house specialty departments a Senior PM can pull on as subject-matter experts: dedicated Lean, scheduling, VDC and procurement teams. The point is simple. You carry full accountability for the project without carrying the weight of every discipline alone, which is what protects your bandwidth to deliver. This role exists because the work is signed and the team needs to grow.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Full delivery ownership of ICI and/or data centre projects in the GTA, from buyout through closeout
- Reporting into local construction leadership, not through a distant regional layer
- Direct access to sizable in-house specialty departments (Lean, scheduling, VDC, procurement) as subject-matter experts whenever the project needs them
- Leading and mentoring the coordinators and engineers on your job
- Owning budget, schedule, trades and the client relationship as the senior point of accountability
About You
The successful candidate will have the following:
- You’ve run $30M+ ICI, institutional, or data centre projects in the GTA and owned the outcome
- You’ve felt the difference between a GC that backs you and one that leaves you exposed, and you want the former
- You know data centre or complex ICI delivery, or you’ve built enough technical work to step into it cleanly
- You manage trades and schedule like the number is yours, because it is
- You lead people in a way that makes them want to stay
About the Job
- Deep specialty departments to draw on as SMEs, so you keep the bandwidth to deliver without burning out
- A secured pipeline, not a hope-based one; this is multi-year runway
- Data centre and ICI work with genuine technical depth and profile
- A culture that keeps people for the long term (the tenure numbers back it up)
- Competitive base plus bonus tied to project performance
- Location: Greater Toronto Area
- Base Salary: $150,000 to $165,000/yr
