  • Senior Estimator – Permanent – 3220

    About the Opportunity

    Our client, a well-established and growing general contractor in the Vancouver market, is seeking an Estimator to join their pre-construction team and support the delivery of complex ICI construction projects across commercial, institutional, and light industrial sectors.

    This role will focus on preparing competitive and accurate estimates for projects ranging from approximately $5M to $60M while working closely with operations, subcontractors, consultants, and ownership groups throughout the pursuit and pre-construction process.

    Duties include but are not limited to:

    • Prepare full-cycle estimates and quantity take-offs for ICI construction projects ($5M–$60M)
    • Analyze drawings, specifications, and project documents to develop accurate costing
    • Solicit, review, and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing
    • Participate in budgeting, conceptual estimating, and pre-construction planning
    • Assist in preparing tender submissions, bid packages, and proposal documentation
    • Identify value engineering opportunities and potential project risks
    • Work collaboratively with Project Managers, Operations, and senior leadership teams
    • Maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, consultants, and clients
    • Support ongoing improvements to estimating processes, systems, and database management

    About You

    The successful candidate will have the following:

    • 5-15+ years of estimating experience within ICI construction
    • Experience estimating commercial, institutional, and/or light industrial projects in the $5M–$60M range
    • Strong understanding of construction methodology, costing, and procurement
    • Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and tender documentation accurately
    • Experience working with estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite
    • Excellent communication, organizational, and negotiation skills
    • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
    • Post-secondary education in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field is preferred

  • Interiors Project Manager – Permanent – 3234

    About the Opportunity

    Our client is a well-established and growing general contractor with a strong presence in the Vancouver market and a dedicated interiors and special-projects group focused on commercial fit-out, tenant improvement, and renovation work. With a steady pipeline of secured projects and a collaborative team culture, they are seeking an experienced Interiors Project Manager to join their Vancouver operations.

    This role is responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of commercial interior construction projects, including office and institutional fit-outs, tenant improvements, and renovations, ranging from initial planning through to final client sign-off. You will manage several fast-moving projects at once, working closely with subcontractors, consultants, landlords, and tenants to deliver exceptional results while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and client satisfaction.

    Duties include but are not limited to:

    • Plan, organize, direct, and control all facets of commercial interior construction projects (fit-outs, tenant improvements, and renovations) from start to finish
    • Manage multiple concurrent projects, developing and executing schedules and work plans and adjusting as required to meet tight, fast-moving timelines
    • Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes, and additions to agreements with architects, designers, consultants, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors
    • Manage client-initiated scope changes and issue change orders and estimates promptly to keep fast-track schedules on track
    • Prepare and submit project budget estimates; monitor project costs and prepare monthly profit-to-complete projections across the project portfolio
    • Coordinate, manage, and communicate effectively with subcontractors and trades to address delivery, labour, scheduling, and payment challenges, often within occupied or operating buildings
    • Facilitate team and client meetings, document minutes, and distribute in a timely manner
    • Conduct ongoing reviews of deliverables to ensure full scope is achieved prior to final client sign-off
    • Oversee all aspects of project close-out including deficiency completion, client walkthroughs, after-sales service, and O&M manual completion
    • Review and approve progress billings, staff hours, and client invoices in conjunction with the accounting team
    • Ensure all project tracking tools and logs (RFI, Change Order, Subcontract, Shop Drawings) are maintained and current
    • Lead health and safety planning and oversight on all project sites, including work in occupied and tenant-occupied premises; attend safety meetings and conduct regular site inspections
    • Liaise with landlords, building management, authorities, and regulatory agencies as required
    • Build and maintain strong client and landlord relationships with the goal of generating repeat business and written references

    About You

    The successful candidate will have the following:

    • University degree in construction, engineering, or a related field, or a college diploma in construction technology, or an equivalent combination of skills and experience
    • 3-5+ years of progressive construction experience as a Project Manager, Coordinator, Estimator, or in a field role, with a focus on interior fit-out or tenant improvement work
    • Proven track record delivering projects on time, within budget, and to scope with high client satisfaction
    • Strong experience in commercial interiors and fit-out across sectors such as office, retail, institutional, and healthcare or hospitality
    • Solid understanding of local building codes, materials, and construction standards in the Vancouver / Lower Mainland market
    • Proficiency with project scheduling tools (MS Project or equivalent) and Microsoft Office Suite
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail
    • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, lead teams, manage subcontractors, and navigate complex project challenges
    • PMP, Gold Seal, or LEED accreditation is an asset
    • Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle required

    • A leadership style rooted in accountability, ownership, and leading from the front
    • Excellent client-facing skills with the ability to build long-term relationships
    • Experience in the Vancouver / Lower Mainland market is strongly preferred
